President Donald Trump is very serious about his plans to annex Canada.
The country’s head of state shocked and angered many when he said that the country would be the greatest state in the US.

The remark sparked a lot of controversy and debates, especially as it comes at a time when Trump has expressed his desire to take over Greenland and even added that he would be willing to send US soldiers for this same reason.
During his recent comments, Trump said that the outcome would be beneficial for both nations. But this is not the first time that he’s expressed his desire to bring Canada into the US fold as the 51st state. As per Trump, the merger will happen soon.

Trump’s trade wars are already going strong with the country, which was met with serious backlash from other world leaders as well, who felt Trump was stirring the pot for trouble, and perhaps his decision was in line to annex the country after such calls.
Trump has been vocal about his desire to bring Canada into the US fold since he began his second term in office. In a playful jab, Trump referred to Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau as the “Governor of Canada.”
