I was suspicious when my careless younger sister volunteered to throw a party for our grandpa’s 90th birthday. I shared my worries with my mother, but she got angry at me, saying that I needed to trust my sister more. So I did as told and sent her $50 since she asked everyone in the family to chip in for the celebration. When I arrived at the party, I felt my stomach twist.
